Get answers to common questions about Full Arms Waxing.
Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. With regular waxing, intervals may lengthen and regrowth becomes finer. Factors like hormones, age, and genetics affect exact timing; we recommend maintenance every four to six weeks.
Some tenderness and brief stinging are normal, especially for first sessions. Our technicians use fast techniques, soothing pre- and post-wax care, and offer numbing options on request to minimize discomfort. Regular waxing typically becomes less painful as follicles weaken.
Ensure hair is about a quarter inch long (roughly two weeks of growth). Exfoliate gently two days before, avoid moisturizers on the day, and inform us about medications or recent sun exposure. Arrive with clean, dry skin for best results.
We advise against waxing sunburned skin; recent sun exposure or tanning can increase sensitivity and risk of irritation. Wait until skin is fully healed and no longer red. For spray or tanning products, cleanse thoroughly before your appointment and consult your technician.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise and direct sun for twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Apply soothing aloe or fragrance-free moisturizer, avoid tight clothing that rubs the arms, and exfoliate gently after two days to prevent ingrown hairs.
Certain conditionsāactive sunburn, open wounds, severe eczema or psoriasis flare-ups, recent chemical peels, or blood-thinning medicationāmay prohibit waxing. Inform your technician about skin conditions, medications, or pregnancy. We'll assess suitability and recommend alternatives if waxing isn't safe.
