Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Chin / Lower Waxing.

Most clients see smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and aftercare. Regular waxing can gradually reduce regrowth speed and thickness, extending intervals between appointments for many people.

Some temporary discomfort is normal, but sensations are brief. Our technicians use techniques to minimize pain, offer calming pre-care, and can recommend topical numbing products if you have low pain tolerance or an upcoming appointment requiring extra comfort.

Ensure hair is about a quarter inch long, avoid retinoids or exfoliating treatments 48 hours prior, and cleanse the area. Arrive makeup-free if possible; we’ll apply soothing products and aftercare instructions following the appointment.

Repeated waxing can weaken hair follicles, leading to finer, sparser regrowth for many clients. While not guaranteed to stop growth permanently, consistent treatments often result in noticeable reduction and longer intervals between sessions.

Mild redness, tenderness, or tiny bumps are common but typically resolve within 24–48 hours. Follow our aftercare: avoid heat, heavy exercise, and exfoliants for a day. Contact us if irritation persists or you notice signs of infection.

We evaluate active acne individually; small, healed blemishes are often safe for waxing, but open sores, cystic acne, or inflamed areas should be avoided. Our technicians can recommend alternatives like gentle hair removal or wait until skin heals.
